The pre-fall 2013 collections have been trickling in for the last week or so and I've been eagerly clicking through each slideshow as soon as it appears on Style.com. Although pre-fall tends to be less over-the-top than the main collections, they're certainly not short on beautiful and perhaps more wearable clothes. My favorite collections so far have to be 3.1 Phillip Lim and Prabal Gurung.
Phillip Lim's pre-fall collection was inspired by bikers and vintage Harley Davidson. Lim's biker chicks seem to be of the more classy variety with their high heeled booties and jeweled collars, but it works for me! I'm loving the classy yet cozy elegance these looks exude.
It's pretty much a fact that Prabal Gurung's collection will be one of my favorites every season and this collection is no exception. I'm a sucker for great pint mixing and bold colors so his work is right up my alley. But as much as I love all the gorgeous prints in this collection, one of my favorite looks is the solid black draped jersey gown. Now if only I had somewhere super fancy to wear it....

Festive Sweaters
Only 18 more days til Christmas! Between the decorating, the shopping, the baking and the wrapping there's so much to do. But you can relax a little because you don't have to worry about what you're going to wear. I've got you covered! Festive Christmas sweaters for everyone! Thrift stores are probably the best place to find plenty of tacky Christmas themed sweaters. But if you're looking for something a little less tacky and a little more cute and quirky, check out my picks here.
Top Row: 3.1 Phillip Lim; Anthropologie; Asos; Dorothy Perkins
Bottom Row: Modcloth; Urban Outfitters; Urban Outfitters; Free People
