Bird is the Word
I adore this Mother of Pearl bird printed dress from their Fall 2012 collection. It's so pretty and feminine from a distance, but close up you can see birds violently attacking other birds and little bloody bird heads mounted on sticks along the bottom. It's completely morbid and I love it.
There's also a teapot featuring the print if you prefer bird massacre home goods instead :)
And if you'd like something a little less weird, I'm also loving these gorgeous Mother of Pearl jewel encrusted gloves. So amazing!

Fashion Envy
On last night's season premier of 'Project Runway', Nina Garcia wore a to-die-for Dolce & Gabbana jeweled dress. Although there were some interesting creations from the contestants, I was incredibly distracted by this gorgeous dress. I would kill for the opportunity to wear it just once.

The Best of Fall 2012 Couture
It's been a very exciting couture season with many beautiful looks to ooh and ah over. We had the anticipation of Raf Simon's couture debut at Dior which seemed to go over extremely well with the critics. We were treated to Karl's 'new vintage' at Chanel, beaded veils at Armani and outfits made of vintage baseball gloves at Margiela. So where am I spending my couture allowance? (of course I have one of those, you don't?!) The two big V's. Valentino and Versace! Total opposites on the style spectrum but that's what I love.
